Install OS 'ON' Pendrive.(Not 'from')

Run OS without Hard drive....!!

There are many tools available on web but I find these two reliable.

⏩First is WinToUSB

This Software is able to install windows 7,8,8.1,10 in USB Pendrive or External Harddrive from iso,wim file.
Other useful features are also introduced in this software.

⏩Second one is AOMEI

*.Pendrive should be greater than 13 gb in size to install on Pendrive.

Create Windows 10/8/8.1 Bootable USB Drive with AOMEI Partition Assistant.

Note that windows 7 can't be installed from AOMEI tool,you have to use Wintousb.
